Shadows in the Dark Reviews

- Shadows in the Dark -

Reading the First 4 Books of this Series and Reviewing them individually. They are novellas and are written by LD Hutchison.

Book One

What dark things lie in wait for you when you least expect it? Vampires? Avangeline used to think they weren't real, till she was told that her best friend has been one for years now as well as her fiancee, and most of the other people she knew. Later she find's out what she really is... The heir to a Vampire clan, and the only thing that can stop a war between good and evil.

Shadows in the Dark (Shadows in the Dark, book 1)Shadows in the Dark by L.D. Hutchinson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I think that the story was unique with some interesting characters. The story comes to an abrupt end so I am glad that I will be reading the next part.

All in all it kept me interested and was a fun read.

Book 2

Mastering her Witch side just so she can become a Vampyre is starting to wear on her too now. But, things get worse when she finally realizes something too late. Thing's are after her, and they will not stop at anything to get to her. Even going as far as kidnapping the people she loves just to get to her and if that isn't bad enough it's her fault too.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This novella was fun to read, and full of suspense. It intrigued me with scary creatures in the dark, and a premonition in a dream. It certainly sets it up for the next one which I am looking forward to reading. There are lots of characters still that we have yet to discover everything about.
